Fun Halloween Costumes for Your Dog.
What could be cuter than your family dog? Try your family dog in a Halloween costume. That can be even more adorable.
According to the National Retail Federation, people in America will spend a record $350-million dollars for dog and cat Halloween costumes and accessories this year. That is up $30-million from 2013. Does that sound scary?
Not to the majority of pet owners, because most pet costumes are $15 to $20 each – about the price of a single movie ticket – but this can be fun for the entire family. Better yet – you can already likely get a discount off the regular price.
However, it’s critical that you make sure the costume isn’t upsetting to your dog or cat. You don’t want your pet to be stressed. This should be a fun event for everyone. If your pet seems upset by his or her costume, remove it immediately.
Also, don’t leave the costume on your pet if you’re not there to supervise.
So go ahead. Let your dogs become real party animals. Just keep them out of the candy.
